14th October 2017

Welcome to the Launceston Carnival Website

The Launceston Carnival Website is here to let you keep up to date with all the latest news surrounding the carnival. You can also use the website to download the necessary forms to enter for the coming carnival. We hope to develop the website in coming years to keep a history of the carnival and have a media rich archive. Please feel free to explore and roam the website.

Want to help? We are looking for helpers to perform a range of tasks for the coming carnival, if you would like to help out please use the contact us form on the website.

We are looking for old photos of the carnival from the past to add to the archives gallery. If you have any pics/snaps which you think people might like to see then please upload them from the gallery page.

This website is paid for using donations from local companies. Please visit the sponsors page to see who has helped us.

Why not check out our collection of vintage photos in the archive gallery?

This years Launceston carnival royalty were chosen at the Eagle House Hotel. Many thanks to all that turned out to support the event and to the lovely youngsters who entered the competition. The judges were Margaret Young, Mayor, and Nicola Gilbert, Mayoress, who certainly had a difficult job choosing. Also thanks to our Royalty sponsor - Costa and to Margaret, for presenting the Salvers and gifts.
This year our Carnival Queen is Isabelle Gribble and she will be supported by our Carnival Princess Phoebe Hinks, and Carnival Prince Blake Shaw.
Well done to you all! We are sure you will be great ambassadors for the carnival and the town!
